Elaine Elliott - Director, Profile Publicity & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce
One woman who recognises the value of major events to Plymouth is Shelly Monk. She set up and runs Jigsaw Events, who now has plenty of work planning and running events throughout the city. The way her business has developed is due in a major way to her own drive and determination, and her experience is already widely sought after in encouraging others. She is no stranger to ambition and would dearly love to have a crack at running the World Powerboat Championships here in the city. Good for her. Nicky Puckey - Tamar Education Business Partnership - Jan 2006 Thank you for your involvement in the Entrepreneurship Masterclass at Devonport High School for Girls on Thursday 12th January 2006. Feedback from the morning was excellent, both students and teachers deemed the morning to be a great success. You certainly managed to fully engage the students and evaluation forms emphasised that your talk was very inspirational. By the end of the morning a large proportion of students indicated that they would be very interested in setting up their own business, which was exactly the outcome we were hoping to achieve. Colin Webster - Network Solutions - October 2006 Can I just offer a word of thanks to you for making our party such a success, I am not lying when I say people have not stopped talking about it since. Seriously though, thanks so much for your effort and 'creative flair', it was a great night and all the guests have commented on even the smallest details which makes the whole thing even more worthwhile. Thank you for looking.
